Citizen Watch, a long-time official timekeeper of the US Open Tennis Championships, had an opportunity to promote their brand and products in a pop-up activation. As a committed brand partner to Citizen, CSI was asked to produce both the booth and activation with the objective of increasing foot traffic and educating consumers on their key value proposition of Eco-Drive technology.
CSI developed, designed, and programmed a unique touchscreen game called “Capture The Light.” The game was timed and asked the user to quickly pull orbs of light down into the watch, creating a physical manifestation of the brand’s key value prop of Eco-Drive. The game was fast and fun, and kept track of a daily leaderboard. A grand prize was given to the high score, and small instant bonus prizes were awarded throughout each day. Additionally, the game required an email address, which helped bolster Citizen’s lead generation.
